The API Analyst supports the full lifecycle of customer-facing APIs, ensuring reliable operations, smooth onboarding of API users, and rapid resolution of technical issues. This role acts as a bridge between technical teams (APIGEE, Engineering, Architecture) and business/API Champions, providing both functional and technical support. The API Analyst is responsible for credential management, troubleshooting, integration testing, documentation review, and customer assistance, ensuring a positive experience for internal and external API consumers., 1. Credential testing (creation and testing of POSTMAN collection)

API Testing & Validation
Execute and document integration tests, regression tests, and environment validations (Pre-Prod, Non-Prod).
Identify and escalate inconsistencies between environments (e.g., MYSE vs APIGEE data flows).
Validate performance and reliability.
- Customer & API Champion Support
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for API Champions, and customer technical teams on:

interpreting errors

understanding API behavior

environment or platform issues
- Documentation & Knowledge Management

Maintain support guides, troubleshooting playbooks, and test cases.

Document lessons learned, known issues, and best practices.

Contribute to functional analysis and small enhancements when needed.
- Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Track recurring issues and propose improvements to API design, implementation, testing flows, or governance.

Support performance analysis (e.g., Distributor Quote CF API use cases).

Collaborate with Architecture and Product teams on enhancements, deprecations, and roadmap alignment.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced SAP Central Finance Consultant with strong expertise in Intercompany Reconciliation (ICMR) to support design, implementation, and optimization of Central Finance solutions. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, deep functional understanding of financial processes, and proven capability in managing complex intercompany reconciliation scenarios., * Functional Requirements Analysis (FC06): ability to translate business needs into functional API behaviors.

Applications Development Lifecycle (FC02): understanding Dev & release processes.

IT Security & Risk Management (FC04): credential security, risk awareness.

Master Data & Data Quality (FC12): understanding of reference data consistency.

Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and API gateways (APIGEE preferred)

Familiarity with Signavio, Archimate, Drawio or similar tools
