Job description

Within the Division Fuel & Fluid Systems of Safran Aerosystems, based in Roche la Molière (France), and reporting to the Technical Department within the RAMS team (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety), you will play a key role in the development of Health Monitoring capabilities related to fuel management and fuel tank safety systems. team.

During the lifecycle of SAO equipment, a significant amount of operational data is generated and stored on our network, but remains underutilized. This data may come from development tests (qualification, endurance, aging), production or repair station tests, and occasionally from in-flight data recorded on the aircraft. The objective of this internship is, for specific use cases, to build a digital representation of equipment performance in order to map its behavior under nominal conditions, and, where possible, in abnormal conditions.

This internship offers the opportunity to work on innovative digitalisation topics in the aerospace sector, in close collaboration with technical experts within a multidisciplinary

The activities to be carried out as part of this position are as follows:

  • Test data analysis: cleaning, post processing of signals, detection/identification of measurement errors and understanding of test,
  • Data labelling to identify the different operating conditions: electrical power, type of fuel, environmental conditions,
  • Construction of a digital model based of machine learning techniques,
  • Validation of the model with the design office experts,
  • Propose a methodology to characterize the model dispersion based on manufacturing acceptance test reports,
  • Propose a methodology to detect degradation trends based on test lab data,
  • If possible, model validation with cold aircraft data
  • Propose recommendations to structure and document the equipment data., A stimulating environment: You will join a company at the heart of aeronautical innovation, where technology and safety serve critical performance. High-stakes projects: You will work on embedded systems that are essential to flight safety, in a demanding international and regulatory environment.
