Job description
As a Quant Developer, you play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our data & analytics strategy, leveraging and optimizing our existing data infrastructure (like PE data lake), such as the PE data lake, and you work closely with other Quant Developer(s), portfolio analysts, and portfolio managers within the PE team. In addition, you are part of a broader, cross-departmental community of Quant Developers. Key responsibilities include streamlining data ingestion, integrating relevant (big) data sources, collaborating with the business on decision-making, analyzing complex datasets, developing machine learning models, and translating results into actionable insights to drive strategic business decisions. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong quantitative background, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and professionalization of the PE platform.
What you would do
- Contribute to digitalization vision of PE by using modern technology and data-driven solutions.Design, develop, and maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code that remains understandable and maintainable over time.
- Enhance data pipelines, visualizations (graphs), and analytical tools to ensure that data is processed correctly and presented clearly .
- Conduct thematic research (such as specific PE sectors or industry trends) with a quantitative focus on pertinent topics and assess the impact on the investment portfolio.
- Transform research findings into practical and reliable analyses that require minimal maintenance.
Requirements

You enjoy contributing to solutions that deliver meaningful impact both now and in the future., * Master's degree (or higher) in a field that heavily involves data and quantitative analysis such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, or other data driven disciplines.
- 5-8 years of experience as a quant developer or quantitative analyst, preferably in an (institutional) investments environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly in Python.
- Experience with databases and data tooling, for example: SQL, Pandas, NumPy, and with data manipulation.
- Experienced in structured software development and collaboration, like proficiency with Git workflows and CI/CD environments.
- Experience with specific data and visualization tools is a plus, but not essential. For exampleexperience with Databricks, Power BI or Dash.
- Excellent command of the English language.
