Job description
-
Establish and Maintain Configuration Baselines: Define and manage baselines for input data, deliverables, and design applicability for each civil structure batch, ensuring consistency and control throughout the project lifecycle.
-
Develop Processes and Workflows: Create robust workflows and processes to manage data traceability, ensuring all inputs, deliverables, changes, and correspondences are systematically tracked and accessible.
-
Enable Traceability: Build and maintain a database that links all project inputs, outputs, revisions, and approvals to their corresponding civil structure batch, ensuring deliverable applicability is clear and auditable (allowing automation for MRL production).
-
Facilitate Change Management: Implement processes to log, assess, and approve changes, ensuring all updates are documented and integrated with project deliverables.
-
Support Interdisciplinary Coordination: Act as the focal point for aligning configuration management processes across design teams, ensuring all parties work with the latest applicable data.
-
Promote Efficiency and Data Integrity: Streamline workflows to reduce errors, duplication, and inefficiencies, ensuring project milestones are met with high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
-
System Engineering Expertise: Deep understanding of system engineering principles, data traceability, and interface management within large, multidisciplinary projects.
-
Database Development Skills: Experience in designing and managing databases or configuration systems to handle complex data relationships, such as linking input data, deliverables, changes, and correspondences.
-
Workflow and Process Development: Proven ability to define and implement workflows for data control, deliverable applicability, and change management (BPMN standards).
-
Experience in Civil or Infrastructure Projects: Familiarity with engineering design and construction processes, particularly in sectors like civil engineering, infrastructure, or nuclear projects.
-
Detail-Oriented and Organized: Exceptional organizational skills to manage extensive data sets and ensure no detail is overlooked in linking and tracking project deliverables.
-
Tools and Standards Knowledge: Proficiency in tools such as PLM, BIM, or specialized configuration management software, and understanding of relevant standards like ISO 10007.
-
Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Capability to identify inefficiencies, discrepancies, or gaps in data workflows and implement innovative solutions to resolve them
