Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, AWS

You'll play a key role in managing and enhancing a hybrid infrastructure estate, supporting both internal systems and customer-facing platforms. Working closely with engineering teams, you'll help drive best practices across DevOps, automation, and system reliability., * Manage and support hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments

• Optimise systems for performance, scalability, security, and cost
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and automation
• Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
• Maintain clear documentation and continuously improve processes

• Strong experience with AWS infrastructure (design, deployment, administration)
• Solid background in on-premise infrastructure (Windows/Linux environments)
• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
• Good understanding of networking, security, and system performance
• Experience with technologies such as Docker/containerisation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar), monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios), Windows Server and Linux
• Exposure to DevOps/Agile environments

Desirable:

• Experience with Cloudflare
• Knowledge of security standards (e.g. ISO27001, PCI-DSS)
• Experience working with data centre environments
