Job description

  • Provide support for customer programs including PITSM, MPS, HOB, across various sectors including Logistics and National Security
  • Deliver robust, well-managed assurance solutions for sensitive programs
  • Conduct extensive third-party and customer liaison, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Engage in flexible scheduling and prioritization to maintain service quality
  • Support the development of information assurance opportunities and tools
  • Contribute to NIST compliant risk assessment methodology and tooling developments
  • Be responsible for project outcomes concerning Cyber Assurance
  • Assist with career planning and personal development for junior team members
  • Support wider Leidos security capability beyond Information Assurance
  • Join a multifaceted cyber team and engage with various projects across the UK

Requirements

  • British nationality (non-dual) as many projects have nationality restrictions
  • DV Clearance or willingness to undergo DV Clearance
  • Experience in delivering accredited security solutions in sensitive government scenarios
  • Strong grasp of Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability & Safety (CIAS) with practical risk management experience
  • Experience in assurance processes for secure/sensitive systems using structured risk analysis
  • Knowledge of NIST-based Information Security Management System (ISMS) controls and processes
  • Experience in maintaining security documentation sets (SyOPS, RMADs, Security Management Plans, etc.)
  • Understanding of IT systems engineering lifecycle and related processes (requirements management, configuration management, testing, assurance)
  • Familiarity with methodologies including Waterfall, Incremental, SAFE, DevOps
  • Proven experience in managing ITHC activities from initial scoping through remediation
  • Experienced in developing and managing Cyber Incident Response capabilities
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering Security Awareness programs
  • Understanding of network and boundary protection principles
  • Familiarity with Protective Monitoring systems and deployment principles
  • Knowledge of authentication & authorization technologies
  • Understanding of encryption protocols and structures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and disciplined project management approach
