Job description
We are seeking an experienced, commercially aware, and technically confident Cloud Product Owner / Business Analyst to lead the development and optimisation of our admin web applications, websites, web stores, and social media integrations.
This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, operations, commercial and customer teams. You will be responsible for translating business needs into clear requirements, managing backlogs, and ensuring cloud-based platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with customer and revenue goals.
You must be comfortable working with customer billing concepts, data structures, and complex system workflows while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
Core Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and release plans
- Own and prioritise the product backlog for cloud-based admin platforms, websites, and e-commerce/web store systems
- Ensure platforms align with commercial objectives, customer needs, and operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting, integrations, and user experience
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Lead requirements discovery sessions with stakeholders across operations, finance, marketing, engineering, commercial teams and venue operators
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Document system workflows, data structures, and integration points
- Analyse current processes and recommend scalable, cloud-first improvements
Web & Integration Oversight
- Manage enhancements to admin web applications and customer-facing websites
- Oversee web store functionality, payment flows, and customer account features
- Coordinate integrations with social media platforms and third-party systems
- Ensure seamless data flow between billing systems, user accounts, and reporting tools
Billing & Data Understanding
- Understand customer billing models (subscriptions, usage-based, transactional)
- Work closely with finance and engineering teams to ensure billing accuracy and data integrity
- Support reporting requirements and data structure optimisation
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security best practices
Backlog & Delivery Management
- Maintain a well-prioritised and transparent product backlog based on business value, risk, and technical dependencies
- Balance feature delivery with operational stability
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams ensuring robust & timely delivery
- Monitor delivery progress and adjust priorities as needed
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between business teams, technical teams, commercial stakeholders, and venue operations
- Manage competing priorities across creative, technical, and operational demands
- Communicate clearly across executive, commercial, marketing, and development teams
- Manage competing priorities and align expectations
- Present updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to senior leadership
Requirements
Minimum Experience: 3+ years' experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a cloud-based environment, The 'how' we fulfil our role is very important and therefore the following skills required for this role have been identified as:
- Strong experience working with web applications, websites, or e-commerce platforms
- Understanding of customer billing systems and financial data flows
- Solid grasp of data structures, system integrations, and API-driven environments
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation
- Proven experience in backlog ownership and prioritisation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language, * Experience with SaaS platforms or cloud-native systems
- Familiarity with social media APIs and integration workflows
- Experience with analytics tools and performance reporting
- Understanding of payment gateways and subscription management systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
