Job description

Are you an engineer who thinks in systems and gets a thrill from accelerating other engineers? Paebbl is building a climate-positive future, and we need a Platform Engineer who creates real leverage - someone who takes end-to-end ownership and makes the whole team faster, safer, and more effective., Get hands-on with the latest AWS capabilities, including SageMaker Unified Studio, Bedrock, and beyond, in a stack that's modern by design, not by accident., Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, modellers, and others to understand their needs and build reliable, scalable solutions that accelerate their work.

Requirements

Strong production experience with Lambda, ECS, S3, SageMaker, and Bedrock, with solid knowledge of IAM, cloud networking, and security fundamentals.

Terraform Expertise

Deep, hands-on Terraform experience. You write infrastructure-as-code the way others write software.

Professional Python

You build production-quality Python modules, CLI tools, and platform libraries. You think in packages and interfaces, not just scripts.

Data Platform Know-How

You understand batch and streaming architectures, and you've supported data science and analytics teams before.

Engineering Rigour

Strong CI/CD, testing, and version control practices (especially on GitHub), with a track record of building systems that scale with organisational growth., Experience with container platforms (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes), event-driven architectures, data engineering, FinOps, or working in industrial or high-growth engineering environments.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary range: €90k-€110k (based in NL; equivalent adjusted for other locations).
  • Stock option program participation.
  • Annual training and development budget.
  • Annual wellness budget.
  • Unlimited paid vacation days (pilot).
  • Up to 6 months of compensated parental leave.
  • Standard pension scheme support.
