Infrastructure Engineer

The design of the technical infrastructure to support the whole solution. The production of all supporting designs for inclusion in the LLD and the associated configuration of the solution. The build, commissioning and acceptance of the technical solution. Delivering a coherent and technically integrated solution in line with the requirements. Run, support and attend all appropriate workshops and meetings. Managing the Bill of Materials and ensuring delivery of all items in line with the project schedule. Supervising the installation and commissioning of the infrastructure, including the appropriate sub-contractors Updating and managing the Bill of Materials with approved changes and updated technical specifications in line with the infrastructure design. • Campus networking experience - design build and config (typical vendors Dell, Juniper, palo alto, Fortinet, arista).
• Detailed knowledge of IP networking, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls.
• Experience in network design and familiarity with domain control inc. AD, DNS, NPS
• Experience in virtual servers and networking using technologies such as VMWare, Proxmox
• Ability to analyse and understand existing designs and requirements
• Experience working in handling physical hardware in environments supporting rack build, networking, trouble-shooting
• Experience working in reference environments assisting in dynamic configuration changes
• Experience in the complete development lifecycle using a range of methodologies
• A good understanding of working with DevOps and some Ansible expertise
• Ability to decompose requirements and formulate designs
