Job description
We're looking for a strong developer who enjoys working across backend systems, real-time services, and modern web UIs, supporting real-time collaboration, asset streaming, and hybrid deployments.
What You'll Work On
- Design and implement backend services in Rust/Go for scalable cloud deployment
- Build APIs and services for:
- Asset ingestion and versioning
- Review/approval workflows
- Authentication, permissions, and collaboration
- Develop frontend web interfaces in JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Vue, or similar)
- Integrate the platform into DCC plugins (data exchange, auth, event sync)
- Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containers, CI/CD
- Collaborate closely with 3D artists, technical artists, and pipeline engineers
Requirements
- Strong experience in backend development with Rust and/or Go
- Solid frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience designing and consuming REST and/or gRPC APIs
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
- Comfortable owning features end-to-end
Nice to Have
- DevOps experience (Terraform, Kubernetes, observability)
- Experience with DCC tools (Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine, etc.)
- Familiarity with 3D pipelines, asset workflows, or real-time rendering
- Knowledge of Three.js or similar
