Data Engineer

Location: Bradford or Peterborough, Hybrid with at least one day in the office and occasional travel to other offices for meetings and training., We're looking for a talented Data Engineer to join us at an exciting time as we build out a greenfield data platform focused on understanding the end-to-end customer journey and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

In this role, you'll design, build, and optimise Azure-based data pipelines, ingesting, transforming, and enriching data from a wide range of sources. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll translate requirements into scalable data solutions spanning batch and real-time workloads. You'll play a key role in enabling self-service analytics, ensuring data solutions align with architectural standards, governance principles, and Agile ways of working.

The essentials:

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines in a cloud platform for all data types
• Understanding of data modelling
• Understanding of cloud technology
• Ability to work with the wider business to understand data needs
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and make sense of complex data landscapes

The desirables:

• Experience with MS Azure
• Experience with streaming analytics
• Experience with Agile frameworks/methodologies

Salary: £52,882 per annum

Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
