Job description

Here at the Witherslack Group, we strive to change young, vulnerable lives every day - and as a Regional IT Support Manager, you'll have the chance to help us do that. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of IT support services across multiple sites, ensuring our schools and homes have reliable, effective systems that enable them to provide outstanding care and education.

By supporting staff and infrastructure across the organisation, you'll play a vital role in keeping our teams connected, productive, and focused on what matters most - improving outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs.

Get out what you put in

As a Regional IT Support Manager, you'll lead and coordinate IT support operations across your region, managing both in-house and outsourced teams to deliver a high-quality, responsive service. You'll oversee a tiered support model, ensuring incidents are resolved efficiently while continuously improving service delivery through performance monitoring, reporting, and innovation.

You'll take ownership of IT infrastructure and systems across multiple sites, supporting technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, VMware, and network environments. From managing escalations to leading projects and system upgrades, you'll ensure maximum availability and minimal disruption to services.

Working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and senior leaders, you'll act as a key liaison, keeping everyone informed and aligned. You'll also drive improvements through data led insights, SLA and KPI tracking, and the development of robust processes and documentation.

This is a varied and impactful role where you'll combine technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to enhance IT services across a growing organisation
