Job description

  • Conduct network or link analysis using relevant tools and methodologies
  • Contribute to campaign planning, contingency planning, or operational design efforts
  • Develop and assess measures of effectiveness (MOEs) tied to operational objectives
  • Deliver briefings to senior leaders (O-6/GO level) and planning teams
  • Work within NATO or partner nation operational environments

Requirements

Navanti is seeking an Intelligence / Threat Analyst to support a U.S. government customer by providing all-source intelligence analysis to inform operational planning, strategic assessments, and senior leader decision-making. The analyst will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and forecast threats to U.S., Allied, and partner nation forces across the African AOR. This includes analysis of threat networks, regional dynamics, and environmental factors impacting operations. The selected candidate will support both classified and unclassified analytical efforts, contributing to the development of decision-quality intelligence products that translate complex information into actionable insights for planners and leadership. The role requires a strong understanding of irregular warfare, counterterrorism, and the operational environment, combined with the ability to produce clear, concise, and operationally relevant analysis., * Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Security Studies, or a related field

  • 5-10+ years of relevant professional experience in intelligence analysis
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required prior to start)
  • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis by integrating classified and open-source reporting
  • Analyze threat networks, violent extremist organizations (VEOs), and regional security environments
  • Operate within U.S. Govt., DoD, USSOCOM, or Geographic Combatant Command environments
  • Apply knowledge of Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions, security cooperation, or counterterrorism operations
  • Support operational and strategic planning processes with intelligence-driven inputs
  • Produce analytical outputs (reports, assessments, briefings) for decision-making audiences
  • Operate in classified environments (e.g., SIPR, JWICS)

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Support operations or programs within the Africa AOR
  • Apply regional expertise in East, West, or North Africa to analytical outputs
  • Use DoD systems such as Palantir, TRESTLE, SOCRATES, or similar platforms, * Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree (Master's or higher) preferred
