Job description
As an iOS Developer, you work on the world's leading motorsport results platform: Speedhive (Speedhive Event Results).
With a 4.5-star rated app and millions of active users worldwide, Speedhive operates at serious scale. It's the platform where racers analyze their performance and fans follow live events and their favorite drivers, all in real time. From car racing and motorcycle racing to RC racing and many other disciplines: your work supports motorsport at every level.
In this role, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of our iOS app. You primarily work with SwiftUI, while also maintaining and improving existing UIKit-based components. As the platform continues to evolve, you play a key role in modernizing the app, work on new feature development while ensuring stability and performance.
What You'll Do You work independently on iOS development, while closely collaborating with other teams across the organization. Given the nature of the role, you are expected to take ownership, work with limited specifications, and translate ideas into high-quality solutions.
In this multidisciplinary team you will find colleagues with specializations in, Android Development, iOS Development, DevOps Engineering and QA Engineering . Since we work in an Agile environment, you will also work closely together with our Product Owner. As a team we are continuously working on the maintenance of the apps, but also on new feature implementations and further development.
Requirements
You hold at least 5 years of experience in iOS development; Strong experience with both SwiftUI as well as UIKit; Affinity with Software - Hardware interaction is an advantage; You preferably have experience with Bluetooth (Bluetooth Low Energy) and implementation of custom protocols; Experience working independently and taking ownership of features; A creative and solution-oriented mindset, especially when working without fully detailed specifications; Strong (technical) communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus); Passion for technology and motorsport
