DevOps Engineer

This role is focused on building and optimizing scalable CI/CD ecosystems that support complex SAP and enterprise environments across both on-prem and cloud infrastructures. You will play a key role in designing automated pipelines, improving deployment reliability, and driving DevSecOps best practices across engineering teams. Working in a highly collaborative and technically driven environment, you will contribute to standardizing reusable automation components and improving overall delivery efficiency. The position involves close interaction with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure robust and secure system operations. You will have the opportunity to shape DevOps standards and influence engineering practices across the organization. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an engineer passionate about automation, reliability, and platform engineering at scale. Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines in GitLab with a strong focus on SAP-based environments
• Develop and standardize reusable pipeline templates, modules, and automation components
• Automate deployment, release, and system remediation processes to improve efficiency and reliability
• Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security, compliance, and quality controls into CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams across VMware, GCP, and Kubernetes environments
• Support the definition and adoption of DevOps standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization
• Contribute to system hardening, operational improvements, and platform stability initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and share knowledge within the DevOps and engineering teams

• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, including pipeline design, optimization, and automation
• Proven experience working with SAP environments (on-premise and/or cloud-based)
• Experience building reusable CI/CD templates, shared libraries, or pipeline frameworks
• Solid understanding of VMware-based infrastructure in on-prem environments
• Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and automation practices
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional technical teams
• Strong documentation skills and ability to define clear technical standards
