Job description

To develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations., * Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization.
  • Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps.
  • Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
  • Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives.
  • Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.

Requirements

  • Data Management Design & Operating Model Leadership - Advanced expertise in data management principles, governance frameworks, and industry standards, with experience embedding sustainable capabilities that improve data quality, traceability, and compliance.
  • Advisory, Consulting & Strategic Skills - Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders, constructively challenge existing practices, and drive alignment across business, technology, and risk teams, often without direct authority.
  • Stakeholder Management & Governance Facilitation - Experience partnering across business, technology, risk, and change functions to embed data management into delivery and operations through coaching, guidance, and reusable frameworks.

  • Communication & Influence - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for senior and technical audiences.
  • Regulatory & Risk Exposure - Experience supporting regulatory engagement, audits, or risk and control assessments.
  • Data Tooling Knowledge - Familiarity with data management tools such as metadata repositories, data lineage solutions, and data quality platforms.
