SAP FICO Architect

The SAP FICO Architect will lead the end-to-end design, governance, and delivery of SAP Finance, costing and Controlling solutions for Parker Aerospace. This role partners with business functions in Finance, costing, controlling, sales, supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient financial processes across the enterprise. The Architect will define the FICO roadmap, guide implementation and optimization initiatives (ECC & S/4HANA), and ensure integration with SAP and non-SAP systems., * Own the end-to-end SAP FICO architecture blueprint, including the global template and approved regional/local variations.

• Translate business requirements into scalable FI/CO functional designs (FI: GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Tax; CO: CCA, PCA, IO, Product Costing, CO-PA).
• Define solution standards and configuration governance to ensure consistency, reuse, and effective master data governance (CoA, cost/profit centers, internal orders, assets, material ledger structures). Lead FICO workstreams across implementations, rollouts, upgrades and ECC
• S/4HANA conversions; manage scope, risks, and cross-functional alignment.
• Provide delivery oversight for consultants/SIs and validate key outputs (FIT/GAP, functional specs, configuration, testing approach, cutover plan, and hypercare stabilization).
• Ensure compliant, audit-ready finance processes for aerospace manufacturing

• Proven SAP FICO architect experience in a complex enterprise environment (preferably manufacturing / aerospace / engineered products.)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of core FI processes and configuration: GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting, bank, Tax, Intercompany, closing and reporting.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of core CO processes and configuration: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, allocations/settlements, and integration to logistics/manufacturing
• Demonstrable experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP lifecycles (discover/design/build/test/deploy/hypercare) and major rollouts
• Solid understanding of ECC a& S/4HANA Finance concepts: Universal Journal, document splitting, parallel ledgers, migration impacts
