Job description

We're looking for a motivated IT Assistant / Junior IT Support Technician to support our IT Manager with the day-to-day running and expansion of our network., * Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across our digital signage and media player network

  • Provide internal IT support (Windows support, email setup, printers, user support)
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and deployment of IT equipment and devices
  • Support basic networking tasks (IP configuration, connectivity issues, routers/switches)
  • Coordinate third-party engineers for installations and maintenance
  • Deliver friendly and effective customer support via phone and email
  • Work with multiple platforms including Windows, Android, Linux, and Apple (macOS/iOS)
  • Support ongoing IT projects, upgrades, and system improvements

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, in person)
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems, Windows OS, and general troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn IT support, networking, and systems

No formal IT experience required; however, an interest in IT, technology, and any hands-on experience (e.g. helpdesk exposure, home labs, coursework, or personal projects) is highly desirable.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

  • Knowledge of IP telephony / VoIP systems
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Exposure to Linux, Android devices, or Apple environments
  • Any previous IT support, helpdesk, or technical support experience

Pay: £16,500.00-£25,775.88 per year
