Job description

  • Develop and maintain user interfaces for web and mobile applications
  • Deliver new features and improvements across existing platforms and systems
  • Build and manage email templates to support marketing and customer communications
  • Work as part of a collaborative development team, contributing to frontend standards and best practices
  • Apply modern development practices to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions, * Develop and maintain user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React and React Native
  • Deliver features and enhancements across existing systems and APIs
  • Take ownership of features from development through to testing and release
  • Build and maintain cross-platform email templates in Bloomreach, ensuring responsiveness and consistency
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional, user-friendly interfaces
  • Work with backend developers to integrate frontend components with APIs and third-party services
  • Actively contribute to Agile/SCRUM processes including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and performance
  • Ensure web accessibility and performance best practices are followed across all deliverables
  • Proactively stay up to date with frontend technologies and contribute to improving existing systems and codebases
  • Contribute to improving code quality, frontend standards, and overall application performance
  • Collaborate with wider development and digital teams to deliver features and improvements

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial experience in a development role within a company or agency environment
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals
  • Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React in a commercial environment
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating frontend applications
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Awareness of web accessibility standards and best practices
  • Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks and features
  • Experience working within Agile development teams and delivery processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
