Air Social is looking for a confident WordPress Web Developer to join our team on a part time basis!
This role is 20 hours per week, designed to fit around school hours, making it ideal for someone returning to work after parental leave or looking for a flexible working pattern.
We are a family friendly business and are hugely supportive of flexible working arrangements that allow people to balance work and home life successfully. While this role may particularly suit a parent returning to work, applications are welcome from anyone looking for a part time position.
You will work closely with our Creative Team and Digital Team, bringing website designs to life and supporting client websites across a range of sectors.
Hours
20 hours per week
This role can be structured around school or nursery hours, for example:
- 9:30am to 2:30pm
- or similar flexible arrangements
Some presence in our Guildford office will be required for team collaboration. We are typically in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the successful candidate will be expected to attend at least two of these days each week, with the option to work from home on the third day., You will be responsible for building and maintaining WordPress websites using designs provided by our creative team.
You will work across a variety of exciting client projects including website builds, landing pages and ongoing improvements to existing sites., Website Development
- Build WordPress websites following designs created by our Creative Team
- Create landing pages for digital marketing campaigns
- Ensure websites are responsive, fast and user friendly
Website Maintenance
- Update plugins and maintain website security
- Fix bugs and technical issues
- Support website migrations and hosting environments
Campaign Support
- Build landing pages for digital marketing campaigns
- Implement tracking where required
- Support the team with technical website improvements
Collaboration
- Work closely with Account Managers, Digital Managers and Designers
- Support the delivery of client projects across multiple sectors
Requirements
Essential
- Strong experience building WordPress websites
- Confident using Elementor or similar page builders
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience building websites from design files
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Desirable
- Experience with Webflow
- Understanding of technical SEO
- Experience with Google Analytics or Tag Manager

£45,000 full time equivalent
Part time salary (20 hours per week):
£22,500 per year
