Job description

As a NOC engineer, you are the first line in handling network incidents and changes:

  • Monitor and manage network infrastructures to ensure stability and performance
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues, primarily at a 2nd-line support level
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone and email
  • Operate mainly within Cisco-based network environments
  • Log, analyze, and resolve incidents in a structured and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on more complex technical challenges

Requirements

Are you a motivated Network Engineer looking to further develop your expertise in a professional NOC environment? As part of our Network Operations Center team, you are responsible for handling network incidents and changes, ensuring stable and secure network operations for both internal and external customers., * CCNA knowledge (knowledge is a must, certification is a plus)

  • In-depth knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, NAC)
  • strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
  • Great communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus but no must)
  • You are able to work independently and in a structured manner, while actively sharing information with your colleagues
  • You are eager to further develop your skills and knowledge
  • Driver's license B

Educational Background

  • Completed education with a focus on networking, such as a degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent are a big plus
