Job description

The C2 Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the integration of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) into Command & Control (C2) environments within tactical communication networks.

In this role, you will ensure reliable and secure real-time video and data transmission across military-grade communication infrastructures. You will work closely with operational units, technical teams, and training personnel to enable seamless system integration and operational readiness in both laboratory and field environments.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Integrate UAS platforms and payload systems into existing C2 architectures and operational environments
  • Configure, test, and optimize real-time video and data streaming over tactical radio and IP-based networks
  • Ensure secure and encrypted communication between drone systems and C2 infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, video, and system integration issues in both lab and field deployments
  • Support operational teams during exercises, testing, and live deployments
  • Collaborate closely with operational units, IT specialists, engineers, and external partners
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support and deliver technical training related to system integration and operational use

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with Command & Control (C2) systems and tactical or military communication networks
  • Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with video streaming technologies and protocols (e.g., RTSP, RTP, UDP)
  • Hands-on experience with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and payload integration
  • Basic understanding of RF communications, radio systems, and networked communication environments
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in time-critical environments
  • Ability to work independently and remain structured under operational pressure
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
