Design Support Engineer

The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Porriño, Spain. What you will be doing As Design Support Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Executes technical design and development work within assigned projects, applying technical knowledge and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering solutions within broader projects.
• Identifies and resolves technical issues, ensuring designs meet functional and performance requirements.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
• Supports the preparation of technical documentation, quality assurance and design verification.
• Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineering staff.

• Experience with CAD programs for 3D design and drawing is required; experience with Inventor is an advantage.
• Level of English for full professional development
• Knowledge about hydrodynamic bearings in the energy, mining and industrial markets is an advantage

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
