Job description
- Work with a team of engineers to develop high-quality software.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle - gathering requirements, designing solutions, building new interfaces, integration with existing architectures, development, and testing code.
- Build scalable, highly available and resilient applications by utilizing the optimal cloud technologies and programming languages and frameworks that best suit your use cases.
- Design technical solutions to solve complex technical problems at scale.
- Build iteratively using agile methodologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in Java & Spring Boot, building scalable, production-grade services.
- Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript, building responsive, maintainable frontend applications.
- Experience designing and working with event-driven architectures, ideally using Azure Event Grid or similar messaging / eventing services.
- Experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with Azure or another major cloud provider.
- Strong computer science fundamentals - object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tooling - preferably Claude Code, applying AI-assisted development practices in day-to-day engineering work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.
- Ability to independently solve complex problems by leveraging experience, documentation, and available resources.
- Genuine desire to learn, grow, and expand your technical skillset over time.
