Job description
As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a central part in building the curated data layer of our Lakehouse platform. Working closely with Data Engineers, BI professionals and business stakeholders, you will design and deliver high-quality, analytics-ready datasets that enable trusted reporting and insight.
You will help define modelling standards, embed data quality principles, and develop robust transformation pipelines that support confident, data-driven decision making across the organisation.

About You
What You'll Do
Design and build curated, analytics-ready datasets using dimensional and semantic modelling techniques Develop and maintain SQL and PySpark transformations within our Lakehouse environment Partner with Data Engineers to optimise the data serving layer Translate business requirements into clear, well-structured data models Implement data quality, testing and reliability into transformation pipelines Contribute to modelling standards, documentation and architectural decisions Collaborate with analysts, BI developers and stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, consistent and fit for purpose
Requirements
Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar data-focused role Strong SQL skills, with experience building complex transformations and data models Experience working with PySpark and modern data platform environments Solid understanding of dimensional modelling and analytics engineering best practice Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable data
Desirable
Experience with Databricks or other Lakehouse technologies Familiarity with Azure data services Exposure to dbt or similar transformation frameworks Knowledge of Delta Lake or modern data storage patterns Experience supporting BI teams (e.g., Power BI environments)
