Job description

Are you passionate about building high-quality mobile applications that genuinely improve people's health and wellbeing?

We're partnering with an innovative medical technology company developing digital products and connected mobile applications used by customers worldwide.

They're looking for a Quality Engineer with strong mobile testing and automation experience to help ensure their digital health platforms remain reliable, secure and safe for real-world use.

You'll play a key role testing iOS and Android applications, cloud APIs and backend services, ensuring new releases meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.

The Opportunity

Working closely with software engineers, business analysts, product teams and regulatory specialists, you'll be responsible for ensuring mobile and cloud systems are fully verified, validated and ready for release.

This is an environment where software quality directly impacts user safety, making the role both technically interesting and meaningful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases and test protocols

  • Test iOS and Android mobile applications

  • Validate cloud services, APIs and backend data flows

  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks

  • Manage defects and testing workflows using Jira and TestRail

  • Ensure traceability between requirements, tests and results

  • Work with developers to improve testability and early defect detection

Requirements

  • Experience testing mobile applications (iOS / Android)

  • Strong background in both manual and automated testing

  • Experience testing APIs and cloud systems

  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Appium, Espresso or XCTest

  • Experience with TestRail and Jira

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Highly desirable:

  • Experience within medical devices, health tech or regulated software

  • Experience integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines
