Design Engineer

· You will be responsible for fast moving projects from conception to completion and will see a variety of industrial practices from sheet metal fabrication, automated welding and machining to galvanizing and powder coating.

· Design new products including trailers and sheet metal products using Solid Works.

· Prototyping products and putting then into production on a short lead time.

· Preparing CAM programs and NC code for the Amada Punch machine.

Preparing CAM programs for the Laser Tube Cutter

· Working closely with the Production Manager and Managing Director.

· Involvement in design meetings with clients.

· Good English.

· Basic practical engineering skills.

· Previous use of a CAD program.

· General understanding of machine tools and CNC processes.

· Team player yet self motivated.

· Problem solver and able to work under own initiative.

Desirable attributes:

· General I.T. skills, including Microsoft Excel.

· Competent Mathematician.

· Practical basic engineering appreciation.

· Solid Works Experience
