Requirements
We need a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our product team. This is a remote position (UK hours required)., * You can build things. Whether that's side projects, freelance work, bootcamp projects, or open source contributions. Simply show us what you've made
- Comfortable working across standard dev stack and AI tools (Claude): you don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should be curious about everything
- Strong problem-solver who reads error messages, checks the docs, and closes loops before asking for help
- Already using AI tools in your workflow. This is non-negotiable
- Excellent written communication. We're remote-first, so clear writing matters
- Motivated by learning and growth, not just a paycheque
Whatever path brought you here (recent grad, bootcamp, self-taught, career-switcher, or years of experience) you're welcome. What matters is what you can build and how fast you can learn., * Builder mindset. You get energy from making things. You'd rather ship something imperfect and iterate than plan forever
- Relentlessly curious. You go down rabbit holes. You read changelogs for fun. You've probably annoyed someone by saying "but how does it actually work?"
- Self-directed. Nobody is going to tell you what to do every hour. You manage your own time and energy, and you deliver
- Low ego, high standards. You want feedback because you want to get better. You take corrections seriously
What energises you:
- Solving real problems for real people
- Learning something new every week
- Working with AI at the frontier
- Being trusted with real responsibility early
- Shipping fast and seeing impact
Benefits & conditions
- High-performance culture with real accountability. We hold each other to a high standard and actively move on those who don't meet it. The bar is real and everyone knows it.
- Remote-first means self-discipline. No one is watching over your shoulder. You need to manage your own time, energy, and output.
- AI-native working. Every role at Minimal Viable Launch involves working with AI tools daily. If you're not curious about AI or resistant to changing how you work, this isn't the right fit.
- Radical candour goes both ways. You will receive direct, honest feedback regularly and you're expected to give it too. If you prefer environments where people avoid difficult conversations, this will feel uncomfortable.
- Startup pace in a growing company. We move fast. Priorities can shift. You'll sometimes be asked to stretch beyond what feels comfortable and that's by design.
- UK hours required. You can be based anywhere, but you must be available and working during standard UK business hours.
- 60-day trial period. All roles start with a 60-day trial to make sure we're the right fit for each other.
OUR VALUES
- Lifelong Learner: We are always learning, we love learning. We share what we learn and have a strong, driven learning culture. Learn and pass it on.
- Make People Love Working With You: We go above and beyond for our team and clients. It is everyone's job to make you love working with us. Go the extra mile. Execute.
- Radical Candour: Disagreement is okay. Strong opinions loosely held is okay. Feedback is not personal - it's seeking to level up the organisation, and you. Seek feedback and action it., We know that's a lot to ask in an application. But we're offering a lot in return: real mentorship, real growth, and the chance to build products that genuinely change people's lives.
If anything about this role or the instructions isn't clear, don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to answer questions.
We're building something special at Minimal Viable Launch, and we want to find someone who's just as excited about that as we are. Let's build something great together.
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
