Job description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Technician to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of all hardware, software, and network systems across the organisation. This is a hands-on role ideal for a problem-solver with strong customer service skills and a passion for technology., Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (desktop, laptop, printers, scanners, mobile devices)

Provide first-line and second-line technical support to end users via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person

Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory / Azure AD

Support and maintain local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, and basic network infrastructure

Perform routine system updates, patches, and security maintenance

Manage IT inventory, including tracking assets and ensuring proper disposal of obsolete equipment

Assist with the deployment and migration of new hardware and software

Document technical processes, resolutions, and maintain accurate IT records

Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards

Participate provide after-hours support when required
Requirements
Proven experience as an IT Technician, Help Desk Technician, or similar role (1-3 years preferred)

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, printers, and mobile devices (iOS/Android)

Basic understanding of cloud services (Microsoft Azure / OneDrive / Teams)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong customer service orientation with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for site visits)
Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not essential)

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent are highly desirable.
