Test Manager - APIs, Digital, CI/CD, Exploratory Testing, Playwright, Agile, ML

Xpertise are urgently looking for an additional hands-on Test Manager (APIs, Digital, CI/CD, Exploratory Testing, Playwright, Agile, ML)

Candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Test Lead/Test Manager
• Proven experience of end-to-end testing including strategy, planning, development, testing, execution, monitoring, and release
• A technical mindset with the ability to understand system architecture, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows
• Someone who sees QA as a craft, not a checkbox exercise
• Solid functional testing experience across complex platforms
• Passion for exploratory testing, discovering edge cases, and breaking things in smart ways
• Good working knowledge of Playwright, plus familiarity with similar frameworks (eg Cypress, Selenium, WebDriverIO)
• Strong advocate of Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
• Experience working with CI/CD tooling and collaborative engineering teams
• Good understanding of non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility, resilience, etc.)
• Someone who keeps up with modern QA thinking, tooling and best practices
• Awareness of how AI and ML can accelerate test design, automation, defect analysis, and coverage
• Experience coaching and supporting testers and engineers in delivering high-quality solutions
• A problem-solver who enjoys investigating how systems behave
• A collaborative team player who takes ownership and drives quality forward
