Job description
We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and developer platforms for a fast-growing software house delivering scalable, high-performance applications for clients across multiple industries. We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and developer platforms.
You will be responsible for building and operating secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with development teams to enable continuous delivery, improve system reliability, and drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Duties:
- Design, implement, and manage Cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable deployments
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Implement best practices for scalability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with software engineers to streamline development workflows
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across environments
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Solid experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Proven expertise of IaC (preferably Terraform)
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (eg, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Good understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, load balancing)
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (eg, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- Proficiency in Scripting (eg, Python, Bash)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
