Job description

As a Lead C++ Developer, you'll remain hands-on while leading a talented team, driving architecture, design and development of low-latency, mission-critical systems. You'll define the technical vision, align stakeholders, and deliver a roadmap that supports long-term growth and innovation.

You'll play a key role in modernising legacy systems, improving engineering practices, and enabling faster, more reliable releases. Alongside this, you'll foster a collaborative team culture, mentor engineers, and ensure high standards of performance and reliability.

Requirements

Do you have expertise with C++ combined with team leadership and stakeholder management skills within a finance environment?, * You have a strong knowledge of the latest C++ standards and modern software design practices and principles

  • You have experience with, or are keen to learn, Python
  • You have experience within a finance environment, ideally with experience of trading, exposure / risk and hedging execution
  • You have experience of renovating legacy systems whilst concurrently delivering on new projects
  • You have excellent collaboration, leadership and stakeholder management skills
