Required Skills & Experience

Deep expertise in Gresham products, and similar Enterprise Data Management platforms.
Minimum 8 years' database engineering experience, with at least 4 years specialising in Apache Cassandra (data modelling, replication, performance tuning).
Strong knowledge of Postgres internals and cloud-native migration tools (AWS/Azure, Spark-based ETL).
Demonstrable experience delivering solutions under financial regulatory frameworks (SOX).
Advanced Scripting skills in Python (preferred) or Java for custom business logic and automation.
Proven ability to optimise SQL/NoSQL performance and define API architectures.
Sound understanding of EOD vs. Real Time pricing, forward curve construction, and basis risk calculations.
Extensive Agile delivery experience (SCRUM/Kanban) within Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra.
Previous involvement in Greenfield migrations or major vendor-to-vendor system swaps.
Familiarity with market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Platts, Argus).
