Backend Software Developer

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing backend engineering team working on a modern cloud security platform. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to building scalable, high-impact solutions.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Own the full lifecycle of backend projects from design through to deployment and production support
• Build and optimise backend services using modern programming languages
• Analyse reliability and performance across distributed systems
• Contribute to system design, architecture decisions and capacity planning
• Define and work towards SLOs across services
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Product and Frontend

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Experience in backend development using a high-level language such as Go or Java
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience working with data-intensive systems and distributed architectures
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
