Technical Architect - GCP - FMCG - REMOTE

We're looking for a Technical Architect to lead the next evolution of our pricing and promotions optimization platform for a leading CPG/FMCG brand. This is a critical role within the Product Team, responsible for owning the end-to-end architecture of a data- and AI-driven web application used across B2B and B2C commercial teams.

You will design a scalable, enterprise-grade architecture, close existing product gaps, reduce technical debt, and connect product vision with robust technical execution.

What the Platform Delivers

• Base price simulation
• Promotion optimization (1+1, % off, multipacks, etc.)
• Promo vs. non-promo performance analysis
• Elasticity, uplift, margin, and ROI modelling

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture (data - analytics React web app)
• Design scalable solutions using GCP, Big Data, and modern web technologies
• Lead the platform's evolution from early-stage to enterprise-ready
• Define refactoring strategies and reduce technical debt
• Own release management, GitHub branching, and engineering standards
• Implement monitoring across pipelines, models, and UI
• Work closely with Product, Data Science, and senior stakeholders

• Experience as a Technical Architect/Lead/Principal Engineer
• Strong background in cloud-native, data-intensive platforms
• Solid understanding of React, APIs, CI/CD, and release management
• Product-minded, pragmatic, and comfortable driving technical direction

Contract details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Location: Remote
• Duration: 12months + (plus potential extensions)
