Ready to work on large-scale data platforms that actually make a difference? We're hiring a Data Engineer to join a high-performing team in Newcastle, building modern, cloud-based data solutions for complex, real-world problems across public and private sector clients.
What you'll have the opportunity to do as a Data Engineer
- Designing and building reliable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting
- Working with streaming and batch data from multiple sources in cloud environments
- Collaborating with engineers, analysts and product teams to deliver scalable data solutions
- Supporting good engineering practice through testing, automation and code reviews
- Contributing to Agile delivery through active teamwork and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience working in a Data Engineering role within a cloud or data-driven environment
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python, with exposure to modern data tools
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiar with CI/CD, version control and engineering best practices
- Eligible for SC clearance (5+ years UK residency)
