The Business Expert Digital Commerce oversees all platform solutions-including M.Shop, M.Commercial Data, M.Companion, and Customer Self-Service-ensuring strategy, requirements, and cross-squad initiatives are aligned and executed effectively. Working closely with the Platform Lead, the role manages, optimizes, and tracks performance to deliver seamless, customer-centric experiences. It supports growth by driving digital project rollouts, collaborating with cross-functional and local teams, and acting as the key connector between markets, stakeholders, and technical teams. Additionally, it builds organizational capability through playbooks, eLearning, and upskilling initiatives.
Job Responsibility
- Own cross-platform business topics (M.Shop, M.Commercial Data, M.Companion, CSS) ensuring alignment and coherence
- Act as the primary interface between local country teams and the platform organization, clarifying and validating demands
- Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and communicate constraints clearly to stakeholders
- Challenge assumptions and ensure decisions are grounded in validated business rationale
- Review, triage, and enforce quality standards on incoming requests before they reach development teams
- Collaborate with Platform Lead, Squad Leads, and Operations Managers to maintain alignment, stability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 6+ years' experience in digital product management, digital commerce, or related enterprise environments
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate between technical requirements and business needs
- Proven track record of owning cross-functional topics and driving them from ambiguity to resolution
- Hands-on expertise in with managing project content, digital platform operations (websites, apps, content management) , mobile-first customer experiences and the ability to analyze digital performance metrics.
- Excellent understanding of mobile-first website designs, customer onboarding, and App interfaces.
- Skilled in tracking and interpreting KPIs using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio)
- Experienced in project/program management, incident handling, and ticketing tools (Jira, Wrike)
- Strong stakeholder management across multi-country environments, with excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills
