Job description

As a Cloud Solution Architect specializing in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), you'll lead transformative cloud implementations for Customers & Partners in Japan. This is a rare opportunity to as the F&O professional in the region to drive impact through the design and integration of complex systems into the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

Customer Centricity

  • Customer Satisfaction- Drive positive Customer Satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor to customers and partners, by leveraging Dynamics 365 expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes. You will actively listen and respectfully challenge yourself to drive the best outcomes

  • Customer/Partner Insights: Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.

Business Impact

  • Consumption (Cloud & Support) growth: Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by providing expertise/guidance to technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's Business Applications value proposition and get value from their investment in Microsoft technology via solution optimization, operational excellence and performance efficiency. Provide direction to Technical Decision Makers (TDMs) and build the bridge between TDMs and Business Decision Makers (BDMs).

  • Resolution of Customer Blockers: Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging technical subject matter expertise. Lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments. Deliver all work according to MS best practices & policies and using repeatable IP.

  • Identify growth opportunities: Leverage knowledge of the products, services, and value propositions of Microsoft Business Applications in customer/partner conversations to identify growth opportunities based on knowledge of customer/partner needs.

  • Partner with other Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs), Customer Success Account Managers (CSAMs), and Product Groups to drive unified delivery and technical excellence.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise, practical experience, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Business Applications, particularly Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). You will be able to demonstrate the following:

Prior experience as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), engaging with stakeholders at all levels within enterprise organizations to drive solution adoption, transformation, and business impact will be a plus.

Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to influence strategic decisions and drive enterprise-wide solution adoption.

Required minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field and experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.

Required Skill Set

Experience with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain Management

In-depth proficiency in Dynamics AX, encompassing both technical and functional aspects

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions

Experience in system integration and interfacing with third-party systems

Understanding of ERP system architecture and best practices

Experience in delivering technical or functional training and knowledge transfer sessions

Familiarity with ERP software beyond Microsoft Dynamics F&O/AX (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus

Experience with ERP implementations in retail, manufacturing, or logistics sectors using Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management
