Job description

Join VeroTech as a E-Drive System Engineer and become part of our community where innovation and people come first., In this pivotal role, you will support the serial engineering phase of existing e-drive products, specifically focusing on MHEV and PHEV systems. Your work will span across mechanical, software, electrical, manufacturing, and validation departments, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Close collaboration with Assistant Chief Engineers and Family Managers of the programs is integral to your success., * Support serial life and continuous improvement activities for existing e-drive systems.

  • Coordinate and contribute to structured issue analysis for field returns and system failures.
  • Perform or support analysis using CAN/LIN traces and motor/inverter behavior metrics.
  • Lead system analysis with mechanical, power electronics, and software calibration teams.
  • Facilitate requirement updates and address Euro 7 homologation impacts.
  • Conduct 8D/Six Sigma problem-solving workshops.
  • Oversee system requirements and traceability through Polarion.

Requirements

We seek a candidate with a strong technical background in electric machine systems, power electronics, and controls. Ideal candidates will have:

  • System engineering experience with mechatronic automotive systems.
  • Proficiency in signal and data analysis.
  • Validation and system debugging experience in bench or vehicle environments.
  • Understanding of embedded software structure and calibration workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills for multi-discipline technical coordination.
  • Proficiency in Polarion and CAN analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and data processing tools.
