Job description
- Contribute to Platform Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership to execute the technical roadmap. Actively participate in team discussions, identify areas for system improvement, and assist in resolving existing technical debt.
- Build & Maintain Platform Infrastructure: Develop and maintain internal tools and platform services that streamline developer workflows. Manage and update our infrastructure-as-code setups (Terraform, ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm), and ensure the daily reliability, monitoring, and scaling of our Kubernetes clusters.
- Support, Document & Enable: Create and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation and runbooks. Provide hands-on support to product engineering teams, helping them onboard to platform tools, troubleshoot deployment pipelines, and successfully utilize self-service capabilities., * Our growing organization offers ideal conditions for over 200 digital experts. - The salary for this position ranges from 60,000 to 68,000 euros gross per year. Requirements
- Platform Experience: You have solid hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE. You have strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), GitOps (ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize), CI/CD systems, and observability stacks.
- Programming and System Knowledge: You are confident in using at least one relevant programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java). You also have a good understanding of Linux system administration and networking principles.
- Product Mindset: You view internal platforms from a customer-centric perspective, focusing on understanding developers' needs and delivering valuable, user-friendly solutions. You are able to communicate technical concepts clearly and comprehensibly to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Motivation for Public Administration: You are enthusiastic about the idea of digitizing public administration and want to apply your knowledge to the needs of the public sector. You are fluent in English (C1) and ideally have knowledge of German, as we use both languages in our daily work.
