(Senior) Data Scientist

• Assess, integrate, and manage additional datasets that enhance the accuracy and coverage of our climate intelligence systems.
• Automate and optimize processes for ESG reporting and datapoint mapping within the Climate Intelligence team to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Expand, maintain, and improve Emission Factor Databases (EFDBs), ensuring high-quality, well-structured emission factors are available across the platform.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for carbon accounting and life cycle assessment (LCA), supporting methodological decisions and product development.
• Upskill and support the broader Tanso team in understanding, managing, and effectively using internal data tools.

• More than 3 years of experience in data analysis and data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and AI-based tooling.
• Strong carbon domain expertise, including Emission Factors, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and GHG accounting as well as ESG expertise with EU reporting standards (such as CSRD) and ESG ratings (EcoVadis, CDP).
• Proactively challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
