IT Project Engineer

Your role

• Support the OT Services Deployment Coordinator to develop the schedule and deliverables for assigned deployment projects.
• Work closely with the Vessel operations teams and regularly perform site visits to clarify IT infrastructure requirements, including installation locations, power provisioning, cabling, and patching. Create associated site visit reports.
• Specify, prepare, configure and test the necessary IT infrastructure equipment, ensuring compliance with IT standards and standard solution designs.
• Develop site-specific installation and commissioning plans and perform onsite installation and commissioning of IT infrastructure equipment. Work closely with Vessel team while onsite and provide daily progress reports.
• Work closely with the support team to provide all required deliverables for seamless handover, and collect lessons learned to improve standard solution design instructions and the overall deployment process.

• You have a degree in Information Technology, Engineering or a relevant field;
• You have affinity and experience with technical project management;
• You have practical experience with the deployment of IT network and systems (servers, storage) infrastructure;
• You are pro-active, dynamic, dedicated and a responsible self-starter with strong customer orientation and multi-tasking responsibilities;
• You have effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing;
• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral
