Job description
We're looking for a capable, hands-on Software Developer who enjoys solving real problems and building high quality features. You'll join a friendly Agile team with clear project boundaries within our wider platform, giving you real ownership while still collaborating closely across the development lifecycle.
Day to day, you'll implement new features in a collaborative Agile environment, writing maintainable, testable code and contributing to a shared commitment to long term product quality. You'll refine requirements with product owners and domain experts, build and test new functionality, fix bugs, improve performance, and contribute to our automated test suite. You'll also review work from your teammates in a supportive, constructive way that maintains quality without slowing momentum.
You'll work closely with developers, designers, testers and other teams, taking part in regular sprint ceremonies and showcasing your work in reviews. The team encourages ideas and continuous improvement. You'll have space to contribute to how we design, build and ship our software.
Your work will support highways authorities and utility companies across the UK, helping them manage essential infrastructure safely, efficiently and in line with complex real world regulations.
It's a role with meaningful impact, strong autonomy, clear ownership, and plenty of room to grow-whether deepening your technical expertise, exploring different areas of the platform, or developing toward senior or leadership roles., This role follows a hybrid pattern, with your team day on alternating Tuesdays at our Dunstable
office. We work within core hours, with flexibility around how you structure the rest of your day.
Attendance is also required for annual company-wide meetings.
The Company does not sponsor foreign nationals, so you must have the permanent right to live and work long term in the UK. You must also be able to commute to our Dunstable, Bedfordshire office at least once a fortnight.
Career Development
We offer a comprehensive onboarding programme, quarterly training opportunities, and a culture where mentorship is embedded in how we work. As you grow, you'll have clear progression opportunities into roles such as Senior Developer, Architect, or into leadership positions.
