Job description

  • Design, develop, test data warehouse microservices
  • Help troubleshoot and fix issues encountered in the field

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge of C and C++ and working knowledge of Java
  • A working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and Helm
  • Strong debugging skills with LLDB or GDB
  • Mastery of AI assistants such as Codex and Claude
  • Experience developing software for Linux
  • Basic understanding of networking and storage device behaviours
  • Fundamental computer science - as many of these as possible:
  • Hashing, sorting, searching, aggregation
  • Indexing
  • Distributed algorithms
  • File systems and storage APIs
  • Operating systems - kernels, threading, scheduling, memory management
  • TCP and RDMA networking
  • Multi-core programming and memory models
  • Compilers - front end, internals or back-ends
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Machine Learning systems/platforms
  • Internals of open source or commercial database

We have an amazing opportunity for a recently graduated Software Developer to join our software development team, working in areas such as query execution, performance optimization, cluster management, security and debugging of issues encountered in the field.
