Job description

This is the ideal role for someone looking to take their first steps in a career in procurement, giving you the opportunity to learn the ropes while keeping our systems running smoothly. You'll be the go-to expert for system users, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently, issues are resolved promptly and accurate information is available to support sound commercial decisions.

This role reports to the Director of Procurement and Cost.

We are happy to condsider both full and part time options for this role, with working hours agreed with the successful candidate., You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our procurement, finance and property systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a great user experience., * Supporting end-to-end e-procurement processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipting and invoice matching.

  • Taking ownership of system queries and issues, following them through to resolution.
  • Maintaining system configurations such as user access, approval hierarchies and permissions.
  • Supporting system upgrades, enhancements and new module implementations.
  • Maintaining accurate supplier, contract, asset and property data to support strong governance and control.

Requirements

You are organised, methodical and naturally curious about how systems and processes work. You take pride in accuracy, enjoy solving problems and are motivated by helping others work more effectively.

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience in an administrative, systems, finance or procurement support role (or a relevant qualification).
  • Confidence working with data, processes and transactional systems.
  • A strong eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Confident IT skills, including MS Office (particularly Excel).
  • A clear, professional communication style and a helpful, approachable manner.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn.
  • Integrity, discretion and respect when handling sensitive financial information.

Experience with e-procurement, finance or asset management systems is desirable but not essential.
