Embedded Software Engineer

Due to immediate project demand, the client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running within an established embedded and BLE-enabled environment. This is a well-scoped, delivery-focused piece of work with minimal ramp-up time.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for locator devices
• Enhance and support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality
• Act as the interface between low-level firmware and higher-level UI components
• Debug, test, and optimise embedded systems for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with internal engineers to ensure smooth knowledge transfer
• Deliver clearly defined project outcomes within agreed timelines

• Strong experience with Embedded C
• Solid background in low-level firmware development
• Hands-on experience working with BLE stacks and integration
• Experience with microcontrollers (e.g. ARM Cortex-M)
• Familiarity with RTOS environments (e.g. FreeRTOS)
• Proven hardware / software integration experience
