DevOps Engineer

I'm working with a fast-growing, AI-native firm based in London to find a hands-on DevOps Engineer for an immediate contract engagement.

This is a builder role, not a maintenance gig. You'll be stepping into an existing AWS environment and taking full ownership - stabilising it, improving it, and supporting the launch of new AI-driven products onto the platform.

What you'll be doing

You'll own the AWS platform end to end, work across their data environment (Databricks, Snowflake), and support the deployment of some genuinely interesting AI-driven products.

A big part of the role is building standardised, well-paved ways of working - golden path patterns that make it easy for the wider team to build and deploy consistently as the business scales.

Just as importantly, they want someone who is comfortable using AI tools like Claude and Cursor as part of their day-to-day workflow. This is a team that embraces new ways of working, and they want engineers who do too.

• Strong AWS experience
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Argo CD / CI/CD pipeline experience
• Python - comfortable working with data pipelines and scripting in a data engineering context
• Databricks and/or Snowflake experience
• Genuine interest in AI tooling (Claude, Cursor etc)
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where you shape things as you go
