Job description

We have a fabulous opportunity for a proactive and inquisitive individual to join our Group Finance Team as a System Administrator. In this key role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our internal financial system (HFM), ensuring the integrity of our global user base and supporting the seamless flow of financial data across the organization.

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with numbers but is curious about the "engine room" of finance-the systems themselves. You will work closely with the Finance Team to ensure month-end readiness and play a vital role in maintaining a secure, accurate, and efficient reporting environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • System Administration: Act as the primary lead for HFM user security requests, managing access rights for new starters and leavers to ensure data remains secure and accurate

  • User Support: Act as a vital resource for our global user base, troubleshooting data submission queries and providing guidance on system functionality

  • Reporting Support: Collaborate with the Finance Team to prepare the system for month-end reporting, ensuring all internal controls and requirements are met

  • Testing & Documentation: Creating detailed documentation for all procedures to ensure we are SOX audit compliant

  • Process Optimisation: Maintain and cleanse system access rights regularly, identifying opportunities to improve user workflows and data integrity, improve or create new reports to meet business requirements

Requirements

So, if you are proactive individual, have had some experience working in a finance administration role and confident using systems but curious about how they work - then we might be looking for you!, * Undergraduate university qualification or equivalent - ideally accounting or IT related

  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Proactive
  • Able to work independently but also comfortable building strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders around the business
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
  • Prepared to work flexibly - it is occasionally necessary to perform some tasks outside of normal business hours

Location: This is a full-time role, split between home working (2 days) and our Head Office in Paddington, London (3 days).
