Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer

The engineering team works in a modern, product led environment with strong DevOps principles. Engineers are responsible for their services end to end, from design through to production, with frequent deployments and a strong focus on automation, testing and reliability., * Design, build and maintain backend services using Python or Go

• Develop and maintain APIs
• Contribute to system design and architectural discussions
• Work closely with product and design to deliver features end to end
• Improve performance, scalability and reliability across services
• Support continuous improvement of engineering practices and tooling

Tech environment

• Python or Go
• AWS cloud environment
• Kubernetes and containerised workloads
• Terraform and infrastructure as code
• CI/CD pipelines with strong automation and testing focus

• Experience building production ready software systems
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles
• Commercial experience with Python or Go
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience working with APIs and databases
