Job description

Imprimis Group / IGXperts is partnering with a high-growth technology company redefining how connected hardware generates and uses real-time data. This team sits at the intersection of cloud, hardware, and analytics — and they need someone who can translate raw data into real business impact. They are not looking for someone who just builds reports. They want someone who digs, asks questions, uncovers patterns, and connects technical signals to operational decisions. This is a hands-on, highly visible role working directly with customers and internal engineering teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in customer discussions to understand operational pain points and business challenges
  • Analyze large-scale and real-time data streams to surface meaningful, actionable insights
  • Build dashboards and visualization tools that make complex data usable in business environments
  • Design and optimize analytics workflows within big data environments
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams (software, hardware, algorithm)
  • Collaborate with internal product teams and customer teams to turn insights into scalable solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related analytical field (required; strong academic background preferred)

  • 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience preferred; open up to approximately 10 years total experience

  • Strong Python and SQL experience REQUIRED

  • Experience with big data architecture, data warehousing, and operational analytics

  • Proven ability to design and implement efficient analytics algorithms

  • Strong quantitative and statistical analysis skills

  • Experience building visualization tools (Power BI preferred; Plotly, Tableau, Grafana also applicable)

  • Spark experience strongly preferred

  • Experience working with IoT or hardware-driven data streams is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical insights clearly

  • Thrives in a fast-growing, constantly evolving environment

  • Flexible team player comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities

  • Able to operate independently and execute quickly when given ownership

  • Background in robotics, hardware, or similar technological environments is highly attractive
